6 August 2017 - The Cricketer Cup Final

The Old Eastbournian Cricket Club were the youngest ever side to have played in the Cricketer Cup final, which took place on Sunday 6 August at Arundel Castle Cricket Club.

Their opponents were Old Wellingtonians, who won the toss and elected to bat. There was some good fielding from the OEs and the OWs finished their innings all out for 182.

The OEs then had to contend with some tight bowling from four OW left arm spinners, and notched up 102 all out. Congratulations to the OWs for winning a tightly fought contest.

We are grateful for all the College staff, OEs, friends and families who turned out to support the OECC. We are already looking forward to next year!
