This page is under development and requires Eastbournian Society members' help to grow!
Clubs provide Eastbournian Society members a space to form groups based on a shared interest or location. Many Eastbournian Society clubs currently use Facebook, Whatsapp or similar to organise themselves. This relies on people already being close to group members in order to be aware of the group and make it more difficult to join. This system also relies on people using a given social media platform regularly.
The Clubs page on this website presents a brand new opportunity to expand accessibility and membership numbers for existing clubs, as well as to form new clubs. The benefits are wide reaching: members can create events, others can sign up to attend and payments can be collected, members can chat among themselves. Groups can either be open for all to see or private. News can be posted which the whole Eastbournian Society can read, helping to promote your Club and gain new members.
Are you interested in forming a new Club for your leavers year group? Or your city? Perhaps you'd like an OE Netball team and you'd like to see if there's enough interest amongst other OEs to form one? Or how about a music club? Business networking? Sea swimming? Gardening? Painting? Chess? The possibilities to help Eastbournian Society members stay in touch and share their hobbies with others are endless!
