Please join us for this special occasion to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) and its longstanding educational partnership with the College. Among our special guests are General The Lord Richards of Herstmonceux GCB CBE DSO DL (Wargrave 1965-70), Chief of the Defence Staff 2010-13 and Anthony Lamb MBE Deputy Head (Co-Curricular) who was appointed as the new Head of Youth and Cadets in the Ministry of Defence in the rank of Brigadier in September 2022.
The CCF came into existence on 1 April 1948 and the College’s existing Junior Training Corps (JTC) was reorganised as part of the CCF scheme in September that year. Today over 320 pupils are in the CCF at Eastbourne College, one of the largest contingents outside those at military schools.

6.30pm Arrival to be taken through security
