Circus of Sound Cabaret returns to Eastbourne
The community of Eastbourne is invited to join a celebration of local talent and diversity at the Birley Centre on Friday 19 May from 7.00 to 10.00. Performers include Daniel Wakeford of TV's Undateables fame, Andrew Self of TV's The Greatest Dancer, Delta 7, and a variety of local acts including bands, poets, rappers and singers.
This event is unique to Eastbourne and brings everyone together in a fun and inclusive way, hence the event motto: 'Everyone is welcome, everyone is included.'
This night was established in 2018 in memory of local musician Tom Salway who supported the award-winning band Delta 7. The band, managed by local charity Culture Shift is leading a lineup of local performers for the first of these live events since the Covid pandemic.
'It feels like exactly what we all need right now and we are delighted to be back in person, hosted by the Birley Centre. We already have a packed lineup in May but we hope that lots more local performers will come forward for future events', explained Culture Shift Director Julia Roberts.
Advance tickets are on sale now for just £3, and people are advised to book early to avoid disappointment via this link: https://circusofsound.eventbrite.co.uk or tickets will be available on the door for £4.
