The Eastbournian Society are delighted to host this event which will help to support the work of the Army Benevolent Fund (now called ABF The Soldiers’ Charity).
Curry lunches were traditionally served in the messes of Army officers on Sundays, particularly during overseas postings, giving regimental families the chance to socialise.
In the College’s spacious dining hall, the chefs will replicate a typical Army-style curry lunch with beef, chicken and vegetarian curries including a wide selection of side dishes and sambals, and a dessert followed by tea or coffee.
The cost for the two-course lunch is £45 per person which also includes a welcome drink, and beer, wine or soft drinks with the meal. There will be a raffle to raise funds for the ABF.
The event accommodates one hundred people, and the ES has been allocated 30 tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. You are encouraged to make up a party.
Please apply for tickets to Jackie Neen, 65 Hawks Road, Hailsham, East Sussex BN27 1NG or redjax@sky.com. For further information, please contact Old Eastbournian Keith Ross: keithross44@gmail.com
Deadline for tickets is 30 September.
The event starts with a welcome drink at 12noon. Lunch starts at 1.00pm.
