The annual fundraising golf challenge represents the Eastbournian Society at its very best. The event is open to OEs, parents, staff, pupils, local businesses and other supporters of the College and provides an excellent opportunity to meet others from within the College community. Proceeds from the day go towards the Peter Bibby Award, which provides bursary funding for a place at the College for a talented local cricketer.
The day consists of breakfast, 18 holes of goles with a shotgun start format, and an evening dinner with an auction. The auction prizes are always exciting and include plenty of money-can't-buy opportunities. From a BBQ with the Headmaster in his garden with croquet, to luxury stays at villas and golf clubs around the world, there is something for everyone!
The costs for the day will be determined in due course. The cost will include bacon rolls on arrival, 18 holes of golf on the Royal Eastbourne Golf Club course, and a three-course dinner. This is a team event for four golfers of any standard, or alternatively you are more than welcome to attend the golf or dinner only.
