The annual quiz night is back for its umpteenth year. Always a hit with the eggheads of the Eastbournian Society, it also attracts those who attend just in the hope of winning a chocolate bar at the whim of the compère. Armed with a variety of questions to cater for everyone (so not too taxing then), John Thornley guides the quizzers through how to get the question sheet the right way up and read from left to right. Then there's no stopping the eager ones who make a stab at providing the odd right answer or two. 

Though groups are welcome, you don't even have to come along with a friend. We'll find you a seat on a top table where you can demonstrate your lack of knowledge along with the rest of them.

And the prize is really a chocolate bar. No expense spared. 

All this is happening while tucking into a delicious curry. 

At a cost of just £20 (including wine), you can't possibly miss this highlight of the ES's year.
