The College’s annual summer concert is taking place on Friday 23 June at 6.30pm in All Saints’ Church.
This year, the music will all have a royal connection. As well as orchestral pieces, we are planning for this concert to provide an opportunity for members of the Eastbournian Society and other singers to join College singers in the choral parts of the programme. We are, therefore, encouraging any OEs and OAs, current parents and anyone else associated with either school and any friends, to join us.
We shall be singing Handel’s Zadok the Priest, the Vaughan Williams arrangement of the Old Hundredth, O Taste and See (Vaughan Williams), and Barlow / Lloyd Webber’s Sing which was written for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
For members of the ES and other visiting singers, it will be almost a come-sing event (rehearsal in the afternoon of the concert) but with two rehearsals before the day if you can make it. The music will be distributed in advance.
The dates for the two rehearsals before the day for those who are able to join us:Thursday 8 June and Monday 19 June; 6.15-7.15pm in College Chapel.
If you would like to join us, please click on 'I'd like to attend' below, and complete the form and we will get back to you in due course.
