A cultural afternoon awaits with a self-led tour (lasts about an hour) of the Foundling Museum 40 Brunswick Square WC1N 1AZ and, for those who want to continue and after a bite of lunch in one of the local eateries, a visit to Sir John Soane’s Museum 13 Lincoln's Inn Fields WC2A 3BP.

We meet just before 12noon at the Foundling Museum and spend an hour looking round. For those who wish to continue the cultural afternoon then there are plenty of places in the area to have a bite of lunch before we continue to Sir John Soane’s Museum (free entry), a 20-minute walk away where, again, we’ll be able to lead ourselves round (if we have eight or more for this part of the afternoon then we can book a free group visit).

The cost of the Foundling Museum is £15 (includes handling charge).

If you wish to stay with us for the Sir John Soane’s Museum, you will discover the extraordinary house and museum of Sir John Soane, one of the greatest English architects, who built and lived in it two centuries ago. The museum has been kept as it was at the time of his death in 1837, and displays his vast collection of antiquities, furniture, sculptures, architectural models and paintings.
