You are invited to our autumn Ladies Lunch at 12.00pm on Friday 9 October. Once again, the venue is The Star, part of the prestigious Polizzi Collection. The afternoon will begin with reception drinks at midday, followed by a delicious two-course lunch. Afterwards, enjoy coffee and a talk from our guest speaker, Kelly Ellis.

Kelly is a former musical theatre performer and dance teacher whose career has taken her through performance, education, farming, community care and rural ministry. She is currently the Pastoral Lay Minister for the Cuckmere Benefice.

From an early love of dance and drama to a vibrant career in musical theatre, Kelly has always been drawn to people and place.

After meeting her husband, an Old Androvian and Eastbournian, on a friend's farm in Kenya, she settled on his family farm in Sussex, where they are raising their two children, both of whom attend St Andrew's Prep and Eastbourne College.

Alongside supporting regenerative farming and community projects, Kelly has found deep fulfilment in walking alongside local people and families through her ministry.

Now, she is bringing together a lifetime of experience in movement, creativity, faith and pastoral care as she prepares to begin an MA in Dance Movement Psychotherapy at the University of Roehampton. She is passionate about helping people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds discover the power of movement to connect, express and heal.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming Kelly and her inspiring energy to our autumn lunch at this wonderful venue.
