'Living above the shop: from Downing Street to Headmaster's House'. Guest speaker the Hon Tom Lawson, College headmaster.

We are delighted to announce that we will be holding this prestigious event again. Many will know what a superb venue this is, and we thank Peter Jamieson for masterminding the occasion.

We are equally delighted that the College's headmaster, the Hon Tom Lawson, will be the guest speaker. As the son of Nigel Lawson, chancellor of the exchequer from 1983 to 1989, Tom spent his early years in Downing Street.

The lunch is an opportunity for all senior ES members (who are encouraged also to bring partners) to meet for a convivial meal which has become firmly established as a popular annual event.

The club offers opportunities for swimming and tennis in the morning to help you build up an appetite for lunch!

The meal costs £50 per person (menu to be finalised) and includes a drink on arrival, three-course lunch with wine, followed by coffee.
