Foundation Golf Day 2026

We were delighted to welcome 14 teams of golfers to the Royal Eastbourne Golf Club on Friday 5th June for the Foundation Golf Day. 2026. Mother Nature delivered the only dry and sunny day of the week and our players (of all abilities) enjoyed a wonderful day, starting with a cooked breakfast and some stories from our bursary recipients and ending with a delicious barbecue. In between, there were lots of opportunities to win prizes, including cars (courtesy of sponsor Birchwood Group), a bottle of fine gin (courtesy of sponsor Rathfinny) in a 'Nearest The Gin' competition, as well as a host of wonderful prizes in our Silent Auction. A few lots in the Silent  Auction remain open until 6pm today so please have a look - many are opportunities not normally open to the public.
