Robin Hood Panto

Robin Hood called his merry band through wind and rain to the capital and they obeyed. When the band's leader turned up, the lucky punters had already sought shelter well inside Sherwood Forest, the wooded glade in the shire of Nottingham, jewel of the Midlands (some would say jewel of the entire planet). And fun was had by all. The dizzy height of the Grand Circle gave a perfect view for all the action, including Julian Clary's slightly over-the-top costumes, Nigel Havers suspended from the ceiling, and the startling effects when using the special glasses provided (glasses for the eyes rather than g and t). This is becoming an annual event and much anticipated in the same way as the annual quiz. Something not to be missed. See you there next year. Don't worry about understanding the plot. There isn't one.
