Foundation Golf Day 2023

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined and supported us at our annual Foundation Golf Day at the Royal Eastbourne Golf Course on 7 July. 

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to our sponsors, with a special mention to our headline sponsors, MTech Systems. Their generous support played a pivotal role in making the event a resounding success.

The day was blessed with beautiful weather as the sun shone down on the golf course, creating the perfect backdrop for a fantastic day of golf. After the round, participants gathered for drinks, followed by a delightful dinner. The evening continued with an exciting auction, adding an element of thrill and camaraderie to the event.

We are delighted to announce that the event raised in the region of £18,000, most of which will go towards the Peter Bibby Award, which gives bursary funding to a talented local cricketer who might otherwise be unable to attend the College. And £1,000 of the money raised will be dedicated to supporting young golfers through the Eastbourne College Golf Programme.

 We are immensely grateful for the support and contributions received, which will go a long way in supporting our initiatives.
