OE Hockey Club v Old Bedians

On Sunday August 18 the newly reformed Old Eastbournian Hockey Club played what they hope to be the first of many old boys matches against local rival Old Bedians Hockey Club. There was a great attending crowd of over 40 people who showed up to watch the hockey spectacle. Domenico Wright ably led the OE side to a 4-2 win with goals coming from Matt Robinson X 2, Hugo Askaroff and Charlie Edwards. Some fantastic hockey was on show and the OE society put on a great match tea which was enjoyed by spectators and both sides in the glorious Eastbourne sunshine. 

We plan as a club to host regular fixtures each year with the potential of hosting an old boys hockey tournament in the future with local schools Bedes, Hurst and Tonbridge all showing interest.
