Fiona grew up in the north of Scotland, and was educated in the Gordonstoun school system from a young age. After a brief spell studying Biochemistry at the University of Edinburgh, Fiona went on to work in the music world in London, handling publicity for many big name artists.
When her children were small, Fiona completed a degree in Professional Musicianship at the University of Sussex, and has been teaching singing and performing in bands since. Fiona also works as a sports commentator and has extensive experience of setting up and running events in both the music and sport worlds; she also works in the Music Department at Eastbourne College, and as a contractor for the Sport Department.
Her son received a Professor Soddy award to study for his A Levels at Eastbourne College, so Fiona is passionate about fundraising for the Blue Sky Bursaries appeal, as she has experienced the impact of a bursary first-hand. In her free time, Fiona enjoys horse riding and running.
