Sorcha’s journey with the College began with the Coastal Schools Partnership, where she studied Latin with Mr Canning. After graduating with a BA in History from the University of Sussex, she went on to work initially at Bede’s Senior School, before finding herself back at Eastbourne College.
Currently, Sorcha is the administrator for the Eastbournian Society and Development office, making sure everything keeps chugging along and keeping everyone in line. She is passionate about our fundraising work, her brother being an OE and Soddy Award recipient, and is always more than happy to talk about how life-changing our bursaries are.
Outside of work, Sorcha is out performing regularly with her band as a singer, and also enjoys dancing, knitting, and the odd spot of photography. She also plays saxophone in both the school Jazz Band and the staff band.
