Global Horizons Business Breakfasts at Eastbourne College
Hosted by the Eastbournian Society
Following on from the success of our inaugural event, we are thrilled to announce that the speaker for our Global Horizons Business Breakfast in November is our MP for Eastbourne, Josh Babarinde OBE.
November's event will be the second in our new series of high-impact networking breakfasts designed for senior leaders and decision-makers across Eastbourne's business and professional community. Held in the Dining Hall of Eastbourne College, these events offer a unique opportunity to share best practice, exchange updates and strengthen connections between local businesses and the College's wider network, including parents of pupils at Eastbourne College and St Andrew's Prep.
Each breakfast features a high-calibre guest speaker, offering insights into leadership, innovation and the evolving business landscape.
On Friday 21 November, Josh Babarinde OBE MP will speak on "Eastbourne’s Voice in Westminster", reflecting on his first year in Parliament and how he is working to advance the town’s interests and unlock new opportunities for local people.

Speaker: Josh Babarinde MP has been Eastbourne's Member of Parliament since last year's General Election. Before politics, he spent his career building an award-winning business getting young people out of crime and gangs and into employment. He was awarded an OBE for this work by our late Queen when he was 26. After serving as a councillor, Josh was elected to Parliament, and served as the Liberal Democrat Spokesperson for Justice.
