The third Devonshire Society Ladies Lunch took place in October at The Star, Alfriston, part of the prestigious Polizzi Collection.
After reception drinks, followed by a delicious two-course lunch with wine, the guest speaker Jo Saady took to the floor. Jo is director of Ecotecture, an award-winning eco architects practice based in West Sussex specialising in environmentally friendly architectural design, and she spoke about some of the projects with which she has been involved.
Some 15 ladies from all parts of the Eastbournian Society family attended this prestigious event and the verdict was that it was a key occasion in the ES calendar. The next one is being organised as we speak. Watch this space.
