A really enjoyable annual event in the Eastbournian Society calendar is when we invite grandparents of current pupils to look round the school, guided by their grandchildren.
This year saw as big a group of any we have had in the last 15 years, and it was a pleasure to welcome them.
After the tours, Development Director Emma Garrett and the headmaster both had the oppportunity to address those who were able to attend.
Emma highlighted the many opportunities which the ES offers to all members which, of course, includes parents and grandparents of current and former pupils.
The head spoke of those who have inspired him, saying how important grandparents are in this regard. He thanked them for their support, and for allowing us to share and enjoy the happiness and pride of their grandchildren.
