Under the light of a full moon, something most curious occurs… Benjamin Button is born old. Bound to the fate of growing younger each day, Benjamin wants nothing more than to live a little life. But will he ever find a place to belong?
As John Hargreaves (teaching staff 1973-80) said: 'Wasn't Benjamin Button GREAT?! Such superb theatre, brimming with brio.' An endorsement if one were needed from former member of the College English Department. Not the first time that we have bumped into John at one of our theatre events but always a pleasure to catch up. And the rest of the group were equally impressed with the sheer verstality of the 13-strong cast of actor-musicians playing 30 instruments who brough to life a heart-burstingly, magical tale of a love that defies all odds.
