Parents of pupils who have joined the College in the Michaelmas term were invited to a reception on Saturday 17 September.

Gathering in the Warren Atrium for tea and coffee, the guests were welcomed by John Thornley who explained that all parents are automatically members of the Eastbournian Society. One of the benefits for pupils is a number of career networking events that the ES organises, allowing them to meet OEs and others in a particular industry or profession. There is also a social dimension to the society with theatre trips, walks, talks and visits to places of interest.

Headmaster Tom Lawson was also there to meet the parents, who later had an opportunity to take a tour of the school.
