We often receive news from OEs to let us know they have recently met up with old school friends. Up and down the country, small lunches and dinners seem to take place on a regular basis. We're always delighted to read these, so please keep them coming!
One recent story to celebrate is Jim Dickerson's recent meet up with an old Gonville friend from 1966. Jim Dickerson writes:
"I attended Eastbourne College for one year, and made so many friends in Gonville and other houses as well. Giles Brisbourne became a close friend that year. Knowing I was going to be in London, I asked David Stewart if the college had Giles contact info. He did! While I had a few days in London, Giles and I had dinner, for about 4 hours! We had not seen each other, or even been in touch, for 56 years. We had so much to discuss…memories from our days at the college, our careers, our families and much more. Best regards and many thanks. Jim Dickerson. Gonville 1966"
Our thanks go to Jim for sharing the photo and update. If this has inspired you to reach out to old friends you've lost contact with, please do get in contact with us as we may be able to help. Similarly, please do register on this website and include your current contact details - you never know which old friends will be able to consequently get in touch with you!
