OE news

Long Man Brewery, the local firm run by Old Eastbournians Duncan Ellis (Blackwater 1990-95) and Stephen Lees (Reeves 1980-85), is celebrating winning another award.

The brewery's Oatmeal Stout won Sussex Beer of the Festival at the Eastbourne Beer Festival held recently on 7 and 8 October.

It is described as 'brewed in the style of a traditional London Stout but with a large portion of oats added to the grain bill, this beer has beautiful notes of coffee and chocolate.'

The brewery said: 'We are incredibly proud to win this local award, it shows that the work done by our brilliant team is appreciated by the people right on our doorstep.'

Long Man is based at Church Farm in Litlington, and you can visit their website for more details at https://www.longmanbrewery.com.
