Liza Thwaites (Nugent 2019-21), together with four friends, will be running 200km over the South Downs Way this summer to raise funds for The Childhood Trust.

The run, on Saturday 22 July, will be starting in Winchester and ending in Eastbourne, with each of the group individually running roughly 40km.

Liza says: 'Having attended Eastbourne College, I can appreciate the opportunities that education can provide, particularly to those of less advantaged backgrounds. For this reason, we have chosen to support this charity for our run. The Childhood Trust provides practical and emotional support for more than 150,000 disadvantaged children in London, offering a safe environment where children can eat nutritious food, enjoy fun inspiring activities, and receive wellbeing support.'

Liza has set up a GoFundMe page and she would like you to help support the endeavour by making a donation here. We wish Liza the best of luck!
