Peter,Emma and Charlie Hobden were delighted with the turnout of friends and family at the annual Matthew Hobden walk in celebration of his life on 19th January 2025.The walk followed its usual format of a celebratory drink at Matthew‘s grave followed by a walk and then a delicious pub lunch in the Six Bells in Chiddingly.
It will be 10 years next year since Matthew‘s death and there are plans for a big celebration of his life around about his birthday in March 2025 by his OE friends-we will keep you posted with further details.
The Matthew Hobden Trust has recently donated towards the Eastbourne College bursary fund to support developing young cricketers in the school.
