The annual London guided walk is always a popular event in the ES calendar and this year was no exception, with around 25 people coming along on Saturday 24 September.
After meeting the guide from the London Walks Company at Holborn underground at 11.00am, the group headed north to the area around the British Museum, Russell Square and Fitzrovia.
With literary figures ranging from Virginia Woolf, Ted Hughes, Sylvia Plath and George Orwell to Dorothy L Sayers, it was a fascinating tour of one of London's most attractive districts.
Some of the group then joined John Thornley afterwards for lunch at a local hostelry.
